Quick to Listen and Slow to Speak is usually not the case in most situations. Mastering the art of effective communication took some time. I used to talk over people, dominate the conversation, go up in tone and pitch, and always needed to get the last word. As a I progressed in my former corporate life, I realized the awakening that all the "extra stuff' was not required to be heard.

To influence others or even slightly be believable you must first tune in with the purpose of the communication. Then you will be able to discern with a proper response!!

Let your communication be seasoned with salt.... People will listen!!
